The Satellite Station - Caught In The Middle

November 06, 2020

Our thoughts about the song :

If you were looking for a powerful song to light up your week-end, here it is. The Satellite Station just released this song today with our friends of AlexRainbirdRecords. In case you're a new visitor at Indie Music Center (well, first: welcome!), Travis, better known as The Satellite Station, comes from Ohio. A peaceful place where he writes delicate songs, and we can feel the positive impact of nature in his music. Always written carefully, his songs, when you put them together, although tinged with melancholy, are like a medicine that works immediately. Travis is very comfortable in a little more upbeat and bright tracks, and "Caught In The Middle" is a jewel of light and hope. After all we've been through this year, it may talk to a lot of people, looking back on what we just faced, and looking forward to what's coming next. The great thing is, no matter what happens, music will always be here to save us. "So put your hands in mine, we'll make it through the night". Nothing better to make you feel safe. Included in our "Indie Pop" playlist, and of course, you will now hear this amazing track on the Indie Music Radio.

The Satellite Station's point of view :

Caught in the Middle’ is about how we are always looking back - focused on the life we used to have - or looking forward at the life we want, and that we don’t often appreciate what we already have.
