Terms of Sale

Last updated: October 18, 2026 These Terms of Sale apply to paid products and services sold through Indie Music Center, including IMC Artist+ subscriptions, paid tools, editorial submissions, digital services and custom physical CD manufacturing for artists. They supplement the Terms of Use. Where the customer acts as a consumer, mandatory consumer protection rules remain applicable.

1. Seller

The seller is the operator of Indie Music Center identified in the Legal Notice available on indiemusiccenter.com. The applicable contact details for orders, billing and complaints are those displayed on the website and in the Legal Notice.

2. Product and service information

The essential characteristics, applicable price and main conditions of each paid product or service are displayed before purchase. The customer is responsible for reviewing this information before confirming an order. Where a feature has specific conditions displayed on its purchase page, those specific conditions form part of the contract.

3. Prices

Prices are displayed in euros unless expressly stated otherwise. The total amount payable is displayed before payment. Any taxes or other mandatory charges applicable to the order are shown before final confirmation where relevant. IMC may change future prices at any time. A price change does not retroactively change an order already paid for.

4. Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe. IMC does not store complete payment card details. An order is confirmed once the payment has been successfully authorized and IMC has received the information necessary to validate the transaction. If a payment fails, the relevant purchase may not be activated or access to a recurring paid service may be suspended in accordance with the applicable subscription conditions.

5. IMC Artist+

Artist+ may be offered as a monthly or annual subscription. The applicable price and billing period are displayed before checkout. Unless cancelled, the subscription renews automatically for the same billing period at the applicable price shown to the customer, subject to any mandatory advance information required by law. An Artist+ subscriber may cancel through the subscription management function available from their IMC account. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Access to Artist+ features continues until the effective end of the paid subscription period. Artist+ includes the eligible IMC Tools identified on the Plans page while the subscription remains active. Any eligible tool purchased for a one-time fee remains permanently unlocked on the same account, including if the user later returns to IMC Free.

6. Artist+ monthly submission

An active Artist+ subscription includes one editorial submission per monthly subscription cycle. The included submission may be a Single, EP or Album. An unused monthly Artist+ submission is not carried over to a later cycle. Once the included monthly submission has been used, additional submissions are purchased separately at the applicable prices displayed in euros.

7. One-time purchases

Eligible one-time purchases are billed in euros through Stripe. The total price is displayed before payment confirmation. A purchase is activated only once the payment has been successfully confirmed. Artist+ members can use eligible included tools while their subscription remains active. Additional editorial submissions are purchased in euros where applicable.

8. Permanent tool unlocks

On IMC Free, eligible IMC Tools may be unlocked permanently for a one-time price of 9 € per tool, paid through Stripe. A permanent unlock remains associated with the account even if the user later subscribes to Artist+ and subsequently returns to IMC Free. Tools that are available free of charge remain subject to the conditions shown on the Plans page. Some link tools may include IMC branding on the Free plan and remove that branding under Artist+.

9. Editorial submissions

The current submission price is displayed before confirmation. At the current rates, a Single costs 5 €, an EP costs 9 € and an Album costs 15 €. The fee or included Artist+ submission covers access to the IMC editorial submission process. It does not purchase a positive review, a publication, playlist placement, a particular rating or acceptance by IMC. Editorial decisions remain independent. The artist confirms that IMC may access and review the submitted files and information for the purposes of processing the submission.

9A. IMC Records custom CD manufacturing

IMC Records manufactures artist-ordered CD batches. Format, quantities, booklets, proofs and shipping charges are confirmed before payment. Artists warrant rights clearance, approve their artwork and keep proceeds from independent resale. Mandatory rights remain unaffected.

10. Right of withdrawal for consumers

Where the customer qualifies as a consumer and the statutory right of withdrawal applies, the customer has fourteen days to exercise that right. For a service contract, the period generally runs from the date the contract is concluded. Where a consumer expressly requests that a paid service begin before the end of the withdrawal period, the consequences of a subsequent withdrawal are determined by applicable consumer law. For digital content supplied without a physical medium, the right of withdrawal may be lost only where the legal requirements for immediate supply, express consent and acknowledgment have been satisfied. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory statutory right of withdrawal.

11. Digital service conformity

Consumers benefit from the mandatory legal guarantee of conformity applicable to digital content and digital services. Where a digital service is not compliant, the consumer may have a statutory right to have it brought into conformity and, where the legal conditions are met, to a price reduction or termination of the contract.

12. Refunds

Refunds are provided where required by law or where expressly provided by the conditions of the purchased product or service. The absence of a particular editorial outcome does not by itself entitle the customer to a refund of an editorial submission, because the purchased service is the processing and consideration of the submission rather than a guaranteed publication or favourable decision. This provision does not affect mandatory consumer rights.

13. Cancellation and renewal

Subscriptions may be cancelled through the online subscription management function provided by IMC. Where French consumer law requires advance information concerning the renewal of a fixed-term service contract with automatic renewal, IMC will provide that information within the legally required period. Cancellation does not normally reimburse a period already paid for, but access remains active until the effective end date unless mandatory law requires a different result.

14. Account suspension and paid services

Where an account is suspended because of fraud, unlawful activity or a serious breach of the Terms of Use, IMC may restrict access to associated services to the extent permitted by law. Any mandatory rights concerning paid services remain unaffected.

15. Complaints

Customers should first contact IMC using the support or contact details provided on the website so that the complaint can be handled directly.

16. Liability

IMC remains responsible for obligations that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Subject to mandatory law, IMC is not liable for losses resulting solely from incorrect information supplied by the customer, unauthorized account use attributable to the customer, third-party platform failures or use of an IMC tool for a purpose for which it was not intended.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. For consumers, this choice does not remove mandatory protections applicable under the law that would otherwise protect the consumer. The parties should first attempt to resolve any dispute directly before court proceedings.
