Follow Twins of June
It’s been a very long time since IMC set foot in Denmark. So it’s time to apologize to the Danish people and honor them with a fabulous band. And today, the trip is worth it, to meet Twins of June.
What’s better than a talented musician? Well, two! Having grown up surrounded by music, the twins Jesper & Jonas released their first EP in 2015. And since then, nothing seems to stop them. Their new single “Favorite Person” caught our eye (or ear) immediately with its huge hook.
Believe us, as music curators, we’ve heard thousands of songs with very classic lyrics like “I love you” or “please love me”. But this is the first time we hear a declaration of love formulated in this way “you’re my favorite person”. We immediately melted in front of this simplicity and this cuteness. Yes, it’s incredibly simple. But still, someone would have had to think about it!
With a super catchy bouncing chorus, huge production quality, and perfect vocal harmonies, the brothers send us ultra-positive vibes, with a delicious pop sound that allows us to extend the summer a little longer. They are leaving in a few days for a German tour. We wish them good luck on the road, and we hope they will have a blast. But we trust them. Their communicative good humor will do all the work.
