For once, we’re offering you an entire album to listen to and help you unwind on Sunday. It’s the latest album from Gavin James whom we highly recommend. A true and sincere artist. We had the pleasure of meeting him in 2014, when he was still relatively unknown, when he was opening for James Blunt on his French tour to promote the album “Moon Landing.” A tall man, very tall indeed, with an imposing stature (he’s easily a head taller than us!), who takes to the stage with just a guitar. And his voice does the rest. A delicate voice, comfortable in every register, and capable of sending shivers down your spine. We suspected we’d be hearing more from him. Today, four years later, Gavin James has managed to establish itself on the international scene, unsurprisingly, and you may have heard it on the radio with “Nervous.” This new album, a blend of lovely ballads and catchy pop songs tinged with folk, featuring infectious backing vocals, will charm you with its authenticity and generosity. Enjoy without moderation.
