Paden, remember that name. It’s the duo formed by Phillip Englehart and Sabrina Tyson, who come from… Nashville!

Come on, be honest, it doesn’t surprise you anymore, does it?

One in five articles on Indie Music Center is about a Nashville artist.

It’s as if there’s nothing else living in this city besides musicians.

We really need to go and see that one day, there must be some mystery…

In short, Paden has a unique sound. Indie-rock, led by a magnificent female voice, is rare enough to be worth highlighting.

A great, very cheerful song with a nice text, written for their goddaughter, and a melody composed somewhat in the style of a lullaby.

But a rock lullaby. And it worked!

We loved the energy they put into this song, all the good positive vibes, and the melody is so catchy that it’s still running through our heads hours later.

And because the independent music world is incredibly vast and small at the same time, they are collaborating with South African producer Vian Izak on their next project.

So, just so you know, Vian Izak is pure quality. We’ve known him for 3 years.

We’ve already told you about it here, there, and even AfterArtists who manage to get 3 (or more) appearances on Indie Music Center are rare.

His incredible work blending comics and music captivated us from the start.

So we’re eager to see what his work with Paden will be like, a duo we’ll be watching closely!

A little indie-rock treat to discover in Our Spotify playlist for February 2020.
