Follow Kolby Knickerbocker
It is in November 2018 that Kolby Knickerbocker was discovered, with the title “Promise“.
We were still called “Music For Your Heart” back then. Good memories!
A little over a year later, here is our favorite Californian again, refurbished.
New visual identity, new and even more refined musical style. A real breath of fresh air!
It is a voice delicately placed over an acoustic guitar that welcomes us in “Alright With Me”.
Then after the first chorus, around 0:59, we understand that the song will gradually increase in intensity.
And we’re not complaining. Kolby has mastered the art of conveying emotions.
The artist told us that he recorded this piece in a single take and that he left his nuances and “mistakes” in it.
Sorry, sir artist, but we couldn’t find any mistakes in your song.
It’s impeccable, clean, and as professional as you could wish for.
Musicians who have mastered the art of the one-shot to perfection are rare.
And that’s why there aren’t many places where you can find them. But they’re here. Lucky them!
A little gem to be found in Our Spotify playlist for January 2020.
