Let’s go to Northern California to discover an artist who had never been through IMC before. And if we present it to you today, it is all thanks to Luna Keller, who is part of our team and who is a wonderful singer-songwriter too. Her network of musicians is expanding more and more, and here she is (again!) at the heart of a collaboration. Because Dominic Romano has chosen to invite Luna on his new single “Never In My Dreams”.
When Luna told us that she was going to appear on a collab again, we immediately thought “great, a new artist to discover”. So we really enjoyed tasting Dominic‘s “Sightline” album, filled with nuggets.
And when we heard the new single that we present to you today, we took a slap. Because it’s probably one of the most beautiful songs of the year. The last time we had this feeling was with “Shelter” by The Satellite Station and we weren’t wrong: the song is approaching 500K streams on Spotify.
If you’ve ever had doubts about your relationship, this song will speak to you. It evokes the strange feeling of never dreaming of the person you love. Is this a bad sign or a warning? How to interpret this absence?
Dominic is a craftsman of words and writes with sheer delicacy and unimaginable talent.
The melody is beautifully crafted and the result is more than up to the mark! Such a level of quality is exceptional. It’s that kind of song that makes you ask the question “Why Doesn’t Everyone Know These Songs?“, as Luna would say in her podcast.
This single is the first in a series of collabs that Dominic will be releasing this year, and we can’t wait to see what happens next! Because we had a listen to his album “Sightline” and we’re convinced that this artist has a huge potential. We loved all the songs we heard in this album. Every single track is a gem.
