Binky describes his latest single as “a mix of country sound and a mix of London pop.”
We largely agree with this description, although in general we don’t like to put artists in boxes, because we believe they all have their own unique universe.
Regarding the lyrics, Binky told us that the song had a deep connection to the struggles of today’s youth. “NWe all have daily battles with our own demons, and the pressure they can exert on our daily lives.“.
Binky is an artist who lives for music. She breathes music.
Country music has always been one of her influences; she even went to Nashville to immerse herself in the roots of country music and met some of the most talented artists in the genre.
She then returned to London with a new vision of country music, and added urban sounds of English pop to create the subtle blend you hear today.
A unique sound, for a unique genre.
All this in a beautiful, very positive and catchy energy, with the added bonus of a very pretty and successful video clip, which plays with colors and lights.
