A declaration of love like we’d all love to receive. You’re beautiful. It’s simple, sure, but it gets straight to the point.
Based in Seattle, The Farewell Broadcast is the solo, acoustic project of STRNGRTHNGS guitarist Logan Johnson. His voice is somewhat reminiscent of Blink-182. A rocker at heart, a lover in the air. The music video is all the more original because we were instantly drawn in.
As for the singing, the singer doesn’t overdo it. Just the right amount.
“You are as beautiful as satellites,” it fits perfectly with the very spacey and cosmic atmosphere of the images.
“Galaxies and shooting stars can’t compete with the wonder that you are.” If she doesn’t come back after that, then we’ve completely missed the point!
The melody is beautifully crafted. The ending is exactly what we were hoping for. No disappointment whatsoever with this little gem.
