Follow The Balcony
Hey Indie Music Lovers! It’s true, it’s been a few days since we last posted.
We are, it can be said, before the big rush of releases for Christmas, at the end of a quiet period.
We receive slightly fewer songs, and we are still just as selective about their quality and strong emotional impact.
And there’s a lot of sorting to do. So there are very few good productions to present to you in the last few days.
But here’s a really good one, which comes to us from England, with the group The Balcony.
A new single, “By the Hand”, which grabs us by the guts from the very beginning.
We appreciate the urban atmosphere of the intro, which starts off with a bang with solid electric guitars.
Then a song of great quality, with a distinctive voice: a strong vocal identity.
Now, when you hear that voice, you’ll know right away that it’s from The Balcony.
The chorus will inevitably lead you to nod your head.
A very catchy melody, and from the first chorus, you start singing along with them!
It’s powerful, impactful, and sublimely produced, above all.
While not unprecedented in this genre, it is the kind of track that one can usually hear on the international rock scene.
But this one has something extra: emotions, and a very present soul.
A group we’ll be keeping a very close eye on for you!
