On this Halloween day, we wanted to offer you ghost stories. But not the nasty ghosts that will haunt your night. On the contrary, what if we offered you a pretty ghost who would whisper a lovely melody in your ear? We found him! Our pretty ghost is… Isabel WoodAnd its aptly named title, “Ghost 3am,” is a perfect fit. A beautiful ballad with a very catchy chorus that stayed in our heads for two weeks. Yes, the young singer sent us her track two weeks ago, and we still remember the chorus like it was yesterday. Suffice it to say, for an artist, when you manage to capture people’s attention to this extent, you’ve won! The vocals are perfectly controlled, and the production is impeccable. There’s nothing to criticize about this little gem. To be savored all night long, alongside some real candy, by the fireside. The perfect track to close out the night. Our Spotify playlist for October 2019.
