Follow The Balcony
We introduced you to The Balcony on October 31st, with “By the Hand“.
They are back with a new track, “The Draw”, still taken from the same EP, which speaks of despair, drug addiction, and the battle to find a better state of mental health.
A meticulous and carefully crafted text, set to a powerful melody which, vocally, is reminiscent of Simple Plan’s ballads in the 2000s.
A piece that starts slowly, and gradually builds in intensity to reach an apotheosis-like finale, where a breathtaking guitar solo and dynamic choirs combine.
A piece full of light for a theme that is otherwise dark.
And of course, a catchy melody that sticks in your head, and which only The Balcony has the secret to.
A little gem to be found in Our Spotify playlist for February 2020.
