Follow Valentin Marx
How about a good dose of indie rock to start the decade?
Okay, let’s go back to Brooklyn for the second time today (after The Bergamot), to meet Valentin Marx, a group of three friends: Andrew, Travis, and Brian.
When we heard the first few seconds of “Fair”, with a voice reminiscent of Jean-Louis Aubert in his youth, and the energy of Andreas Johnson, we couldn’t resist.
And when the chorus arrives, it’s confirmed: it’s a bomb!
We start nodding our heads without even realizing it and we experience pure, unadulterated pleasure.
With this new single, which combines frenetic guitar riffs and a well-awakened, raspy voice, the band makes a resounding comeback and reassures us: rock is not dead.
A sweet little treat to be found in Our Spotify playlist for January 2020.
