Hey our favorite music lovers. So, we have to confess something. When we received this track from Southside Café, we had a lot of questions. Should we publish it? Shouldn’t we? Because the track itself is quite repetitive. There isn’t really a chorus, but rather a succession of verses.
But the voice so effortlessly transports us to a magical, almost mystical world that we simply had to share this gem with you. The power of this voice is incredible. We listen attentively to the lyrics, which are easily understandable, even for French speakers, because they are so clearly articulated. And the magic works.
We can already picture ourselves in front of a castle besieged by fire and blood by the enemy, and the final guitar solo will leave you breathless.
At the end of the song, you feel glad you listened to it all the way through, because you realize that if you’d stopped at the repetitive verses without seeing what came next, you would have missed something. Because it’s really good. Right up to the very last second.
