We already featured Simon Alexander in 2018. I think it was one of our first reviews ever. It was when we started to randomly write our thoughts in this language that is not even ours. So we can tell that Simon is someone you can count on, cause he's still working hard, four years later, and he just dropped an amazing song today.

We often talk about sync opportunities in TV commercials or Netflix series, but what about video games? It's also an important part of the sync opportunities artists can get nowadays. And this song is a part of 'Ghost on the Shore' game's OST.

Simon comes from Sweden. And as you may know, IMC has found a lot of new favorites in this country over the last few years. The song is a wonderful ballad with a delicate and soft atmosphere.

About the track, Simon said: "The song is based on the overarching story arc of 'Ghost on the Shore', and how the character Riley unveils the secrets of the island through memories. The game is created by Belgian studio Like Charlie, creators of critically acclaimed "Marie's Room", which also featured two of my songs".

We often talk to you about the fact that having a catchy chorus before the 40-second mark of a song is an important selection criterion for radios. This applies especially to indie-pop anthems that will make you dance. But we didn't think that Simon would also apply it in such a relaxing track. It may be involuntary on his part, but he put the radio programmers in his pocket by doing this.

With an absolutely stunning vocal performance and a production of very very high quality, Simon signs here what we can call a masterpiece. This reminds us of some Coldplay tracks, on their first albums. Huge emotional potential. Fabulous sweetness. And goosebumps that don't take long to come. Dang, after writing this, we just realized we also mentioned Coldplay last time we featured Simon in 2018. Maybe it's a good sign!

Spotted several times by our English friends from Alexrainbirdmusic (Alex and Beth are both huge Coldplay fans by the way), Simon has all the potential to seduce an international audience, which is growing more and more. He is an artist who will never disappoint you, as the quality of his whole repertoire is exceptional.
