While some countries are emerging from the lockdown, and others are entering, we all need to find our loved ones, and above all: to show them that we love them. If you love your loved ones, you will give them a nice gift by making them listen to this song.

This is a wonderful romantic ride, offered by Polly Mooney, who is from Nashville, TN. The song, very cinematic, plunges us into a universe of delicacy and softness, delivering an immediate feeling of well-being and relaxation.

Very colorful, the singer takes you for a walk in the kudzu. The what? Kudzu is an invasive climbing plant that is similar in appearance to Virginia creeper. So here is a perfect natural setting to enjoy a romantic getaway in nature. If you were looking for the perfect declaration of love, you have found it here.

It’s an acoustic guitar that opens the track, with Polly’s sweet voice. The first chorus comes around the 40-second mark, which in the radio industry is a sign that a song can become a big hit. When a powerful chorus arrives at this precise moment, the chances of appealing to the general public are increased tenfold.

The contrast between sweetness and power is quite stunning, and although having a standard length of just over 3.30, the song struck us as too short. Fortunately, the replay button is meant to be killed.

Included in our “Indie Pop” Spotify playlist.
