[ENGLISH VERSION BELOW]
Three short seconds of intro are enough to make us understand that we are going to have a pure moment of pleasure.
When the voice appears, it’s confirmation. Being able to access such high notes so easily truly promises a unique musical moment.
Percival Elliott is an indie-folk duo based on the South Coast of England.
Driven by the belief that true friends can create something meaningful, Olly Hite and Samuel Carter-Brazier joined forces to delight their audience with their poignant lyricism and neo-nostalgic melodies.
The group’s name has an unusual story behind it. In fact, Percival Elliott, born in 1883, was Hite’s great-grandfather, an inventor who created one of the first ice cream shops in Brighton. It’s true that there’s a very authentic feel to the duo’s music.
Music made with real instruments. No excessive use of synthesizers. No magic wands on a computer program. Behind this incredible track are real musicians, delighted to share their passion with us.
“Forever” speaks to us of eternal love. The chance to meet someone. “The spark and the butterflies, even if it’s for a second, this feeling can last for eternity.”
The message certainly comes across very well. The musical power blends with the power of the lyrics and the performance to offer us the perfect ballad to end a stormy weekend in France and get back on track.
The ending will undoubtedly remind you of a little bit of the 60s, which is very much appreciated by connoisseurs.
