Lucas Fournier - All I Know

February 06, 2023

Hey lovely readers! How was your weekend? We hope you had a little time to go through all the beautiful indie songs that have been released on Friday. And if you are still looking for something to fill your playlists, here is an additional suggestion.

The fact that this is the second song entitled "All I Know" that we present to you in a week is a pure coincidence, don't see there any laziness on our part. And besides, this "All I Know" has nothing to do musically with that of Dom Malin.

With a reverie side that almost makes us forget the cold (if you're in Canada right now, just like Lucas Fournier, you're definitely concerned), and that just makes us want to stay warm under the duvet. To take the time, to reflect, and to try to be more in the present moment.

Lucas Fournier's "All I Know" is a stunning and introspective folk song that starts with the sound of rain and sets the tone for a beautifully crafted piece of music.

The song features magnificent strings by Harley Eblen (yes! him again!) and delicate drums by Emilio Biggs, all backed by a slow, and waltzy rhythm. The lyrics touch on the theme of "feeling undeserving of love and not being able to stay in the moment" as Lucas told us.

This is a must-listen for fans of introspective singer-songwriter tracks with a touch of originality, being here these hypnotizing drums and strings that will rock you for hours if, like us, you just listen to it on repeat.
