This is a declaration of love par excellence that the artist Kristen Beckwith offers us in “Safe Place“.

A magnificent piano-vocal ballad, full of gentleness and finesse.

A wonderful text set to a sweet and captivating melody, sung by an incredible voice that is reminiscent of Delta Goodrem, an Australian artist who achieved success in the 2000s with “Born To Try”.

Since then, voices in this emotional genre have become rather rare, which is a shame, because beautiful songs are the ones that touch the public the most.

But Kristen Beckwith seems to be breaking the silence of pretty voices, and that’s good news!

The artist from Utah opens up about writing this little gem:

“I wrote this song in Florence, Italy.

I was travelling around Europe for two months with my husband and I was writing a lot of music.

And while travelling is amazing and exciting, it can also be very difficult, especially for an anxious mind.

This song was the result of what I genuinely felt at the time about my husband.

This has become my favorite song that I wrote during my time in Europe. A true love song.“

“I fall for you, everyday, I fall in love in every way.” We couldn’t have dreamed of anything better on this Valentine’s Day; it’s the perfect soundtrack!

We hope that she will return to Europe soon, and particularly to France, where she will be welcomed with open arms!

An artist we’ll be following closely for you this year because it’s not impossible that you’ll come across her again on Indie Music Center.

A real gem to rediscover in Our Spotify playlist for February 2020 And our playlist “Valentine Soundtrack“.
