This Friday the 13th is your lucky day on Music For Your Heart! You’ll be able to listen to a song that makes you want to enjoy the weekend, go for a drive, window down, arm out the window! The perfect spring track. You loved “Avalanche“in our 200th article in early January. Foresteater is back with “Pretend Land,” a song that reminds us we’re all human, as the artist so aptly puts it: “I didn’t plan on writing this song; it just came out one day. I think I’d become too overwhelmed by the ugliness and despair I’d felt since Trump came to power. It’s a song about feeling extremely hopeless and pessimistic about the future. It reminds us that we’re all humans who invent everything we do, and that could be a very scary truth. Musically, I tried to combine different rock genres I like into one cohesive piece.” And frankly, it’s a real success. Foresteater is a genius: it’s refreshing, uplifting, and pleasing to the ears. Available on Spotify, iTunes, Soundcloud, and included in our “Need To Escape” playlist on Spotify And YouTube.
