“I will never stop loving you, even if you don’t want to love me.” This is a message of hope that Evan Nachimson delivers in this gentle ballad, to be enjoyed by the fireside.
Produced by Fernando Lodeiro (Paul McCartney, no less), “Won’t Stop Loving You”, and the other songs on his 2nd EP were written while Evan was going through a severe depression, and after attempting to end his life on his 23rd birthday.
The songs were then rewritten and re-recorded during his convalescence.
Today, we can only thank him for staying with us to offer us such an intense song.
The text is quite simple, no need for artifice, Evan’s voice takes us from very calm and composed verses to powerful and energetic choruses.
The melody is incredibly catchy. When the song ends, the urge to press PLAY is more than just there; it’s overwhelming.
