Coming from South East London, Ella Tobin, only 22, is our new favorite.

Having started writing at a very young age, and after several years of busking on the streets, Ella is finally ready for the big adventure: releasing her music to the public. And it was probably the best decision she made.

"The Ghost", released today, is timely, just three days before Halloween. Even though it's hard to believe, because the quality level is extremely high, this is her debut single! In a universe mixing folk and alt-pop with talent, and in a very cinematic atmosphere, "The Ghost" is a gem. Whether in the very colorful writing or in the vocal interpretation imbued with sensitivity and emotion, Ella Tobin masters and perfectly doses her emotions to make this song a real... masterpiece!

On the production side, many elements appealed to us. The choice of the electric guitar, for example, creates this delicious spooky atmosphere. But also lots of little details, like the background vocals. Just like in her voice, the power is perfectly balanced in this song which alternates quieter parts and more intense parts in emotion. A rather original construction, which makes us want more.

At the end of the song, we find ourselves speechless, wondering if what we have just heard was real. Amazing bewitching power!
