It’s been two months since we received a bombshell in the Indie-Rock genre, since we introduced you to… Gran Noir, whose video has now surpassed 150,000 viewsOn and On“.
And when we talk about bombs, this one won’t leave you indifferent.
“I Live in Shadow”, which can be translated into French as “Je vis dans l’ombre”, evokes the feelings one experiences when one feels abandoned and trapped in a situation one did not choose, in the shadows, and without access to the light.
A fairly long but pleasant intro immediately sets the dark context of the track.
Supported by a video in white and light tones, which contrast with the text, the song develops thanks to a catchy rhythm and melody.
Erik’s voice has something magical about it. He could tell us anything; it’s the kind of voice that instantly transports you.
But as you know, you can’t do anything alone. That’s why strong and powerful backing vocals accompany him on the choruses.
Without a doubt, this is a group we will be watching very closely, and that we are sure to see again in 2020 on Indie Music Center.
