What first struck us about BotaIt’s the vocal resemblance to Kylie Minogue. But above all, it’s her musical personality. Certainly, the song has a very good chance of making it onto major radio playlists, thanks to its pop appeal. But the artist gives herself more than ever in this performance, which sounds natural and, above all, unforced. No Mariah Carey-esque vocal flourishes. Just a very well-written text delivered over a very catchy melody. You too will have the tune stuck in your head for hours. Born in Kazakhstan, Bota She was destined to be a piano prodigy. But she wanted to pursue writing and moved to London at 16. It was the best decision she ever made. Now she’s in the public eye, and we wish her the best of luck! She’s bound to succeed! Available in our Spotify playlist “Indie Pop“.
