Hailing from Texas, the 5 members of Blue October have nothing left to prove on the independent music scene.
Active for over 10 years with a very solid community of fans around the world, the group plays in the big leagues.
And back when we had a radio station called Pop’N’rock Radio, we played them non-stop.
It was with “Let Forever Mean Forever” that the group came to see us at the beginning of this year.
A track released in the summer of 2018 on their album “I Hope You’re Happy”.
The idea of promoting it just as we’ve changed decades is an excellent one.
As if anything were possible, the piece opens up a world of infinite possibilities.
Firstly, through its carefully written and poetic lyrics, but also through a melody that builds as the song progresses.
Initially calm, with just a guitar and Justin’s voice, the song becomes a true anthem to good cheer.
The vocal flights are impressive and Justin masters the power of his voice with disconcerting ease.
The song ends with a gradual build-up of emotions, culminating in a thrill, which is exactly what you expect when you visit Indie Music Center.
With a 2020 schedule already packed with concert dates, Blue October could well take off this year.
One dream remains for us to fulfill: a date in France!
A little gem that you’ll find in our Spotify playlist “January 2020”.
