[ENGLISH VERSION BELOW]
Barack, whose real name is Lorenzo Clerici, comes from Switzerland.
He grew up in northern Italy, in a paradise of greenery, lakes, mountains, and silence.
The least one can say is that the silence has been very inspiring for Barack.
Because “Victory” captivates us from the first chorus, and takes us into its own unique world.
It’s difficult to define a genre. Folk? Why not.
At the same time, as you know by now: we don’t like to put people in boxes or label them.
So let’s just say that Barack is doing what Barack does, nothing else.
At the same time, for an artist to be able to say that they have their own universe without copying anyone is becoming rare these days.
The text is simply magnificent, a beautiful declaration of love to a stranger who descended from the sky.
The music video is simple, certainly, but disconcertingly beautiful and poetic.
The final result is simply… stunning.
