We discovered this pretty Norwegian woman last October in our Sunday Moments.
Celiin is back with a new single that’s darker than the romantic “Leonardo“that she had introduced to us.
From the very first seconds, Celiin sets the tone. It will be darker than before.
The chorus begins with a ticking sound reminiscent of the “Hung Up“by Madonna. A restrained chorus.
The artist saves his power for the rest of the song.
After a second, more rhythmic and dynamic verse, it finally opens up into a second, impactful chorus.
“Tell me darling, how long have you been hiding in this Nasty Human?” she sings, which can be translated as “Tell me, darling, how long did you hide that wicked human?“.
The message is clear. Despite the rather dark lyrics, Celiin brings a lot of light to this Indie-Pop track through her interpretive talent and vocal ease.
And the potential is enormous. Because it could very well become a hit if it gets radio airplay.
