These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the services provided by Indie Music Center, intended for independent artists, labels, managers, publicists, and music professionals. Services may include, but are not limited to: editorial features, music reviews, playlist consideration, promotional content, and other editorial or promotional services offered through indiemusiccenter.com.

2. Pricing

Prices are indicated in euros, all taxes included (TTC). VAT is not applicable in accordance with Article 293B of the French General Tax Code. Certain services may be quoted individually depending on the artist’s needs, the type of editorial coverage requested, and the scope of the promotional work involved. Pricing and delivery timelines are confirmed prior to payment.

3. Order and Payment

Editorial services and playlist consideration: Orders are confirmed once the scope of the editorial work has been agreed upon and payment has been received via the payment link provided by Indie Music Center.

Payment confirms the submission request and the review process. Payment guarantees that the track will be listened to and evaluated and even covered, but does not guarantee playlist placement, editorial coverage, or promotional results.

Indie Music Center reserves the right to refuse any submission or service request at its discretion.

4. Right of Withdrawal (individuals only)

In accordance with the European Consumer Code, individual customers benefit from a 14-day withdrawal period starting from the date of the order. However, this right does not apply once the editorial service has begun or has been completed before the end of this period, with the prior agreement of the client. In such cases, no refund will be possible.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

Due to the nature of digital editorial services and music evaluation work, no refunds are provided once a submission or editorial service has been processed or delivered. If a technical issue prevents the proper delivery of a service, Indie Music Center will provide an appropriate solution, which may include a correction, rescheduling, or replacement service when applicable. Playlist submissions are reviewed individually.

6. Client Obligations

The client agrees to provide accurate information related to the music submission, including artist name, track details, streaming links, and contact information. The client also confirms that they hold the necessary rights or authorization to promote and distribute the submitted music.

7. Provider Obligations

Indie Music Center commits to evaluating submitted music and delivering agreed editorial services in professional conditions. When applicable, editorial content will be published within the announced delivery timeframe. Standard delivery time for editorial features is typically between 7 and 10 days, unless otherwise specified. The provider also commits to maintaining editorial independence when reviewing and selecting music.

8. Disputes

Any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by French law.

For individual clients: jurisdiction of the courts at the client’s place of residence. For professional clients: exclusive jurisdiction of the courts corresponding to the provider’s registered office (La Rochelle, France).

The IMC Family was from 2020 to 2025 a supportive community of artists who have been featured more than 5 times on Indie Music Center. It means that we really trust them for the quality of their work. And so you can trust them as well.

As an artist and a member of the IMC Family, artists had access to a private Instagram group chat where they can connect with fellow artists.

We organized regular Zoom calls exclusively for IMC Family artists. These calls were an opportunity to connect face-to-face, share experiences, discuss music industry trends, and strengthen the bonds within our community.

We cherish these artists and their incredible music, and we're happy and proud to offer them a unique space to connect, collaborate, and grow together.

How to Join the IMC Family:

Becoming a part of the IMC Family was automatic and seamless. Once you've been featured more than 5 times on IMC, you were already a member of our family. There's no need to reach out or to send anything: you were in after 5 features!

It operates as an independent editorial service and is read daily by professionals from radio, television, music press, film and series production, including people working with major streaming platforms and cinema. Many of them actively look for new music to broadcast, license, or integrate into creative projects.

As a result, several artists featured on IMC regularly receive collaboration offers, and some have seen their projects grow significantly after being highlighted here, because we've always put humans in the CENTER.

Every collaboration project starts with a real discussion with the artist, or the PR / manager / label. We take time to understand the context, intentions, and positioning of each release before working on it. We do not promise likes, followers, numbers or guaranteed exposure. We focus on serious projects and long-term credibility.

For playlist placements, musicians can submit music through Submithub, PlaylistPush, or Intonality. This allows us to reinvest everything into promoting our flagship playlist, New Indie Music.

We do not feature:

Songs made with Suno or any AI system. Christmas songs. Demos or live versions. Songs with explicit lyrics. Auto tune or any vocal effects.

Country, americana, christian music, rap, metal, yelling, or spoken word. Tracks focused on religion, violence, politics, hot topics, or war. Covers or instrumentals. And we are not fans of harmonica, to be honest.

But we welcome:

Folk, pop and rock music. Finished and well produced songs. Emotional songs. Goosebumps. Honest lyrics. Organic sounds. Songs that say something and leave a mark.

Anything heartfelt is welcome! As long as it's made with heart and love!

Since 2017 and the launch of this format, more than 1900 artists have been featured on Indie Music Center.

This growth is not magic. Our readership includes professionals from across the independent music ecosystem: our readers are independent artists and bands, publicists and PR agencies, record labels and label managers, playlist curators and music bloggers, radio programmers, festival programmers and booking agents, music journalists and media professionals, people working at Netflix looking for a good song to sync.

Music submission

For playlist placements, musicians can submit music through Submithub, PlaylistPush, or Intonality. This allows us to reinvest everything into promoting our flagship playlist, New Indie Music.

About 80% of submission revenue can be reinvested into playlist promotion. This is how our main playlist gained 2000+ followers in less than 8 months. And still going.
