Today, we have a first look, before anyone else, because the track is officially released tomorrow. A gift that Vian Izak has honored us with, and we are very grateful.
Vian Izak, composer and producer, had an idea with Hein Zaayman, illustrator: to release a graphic novel, accompanied by a two-song EP, every month from July to December 2017. A unique and enjoyable experience, you can find the entire project by following this link.
This is a lovely indie ballad, featuring a male and female vocal duo reminiscent of legendary pairings like Angus & Julia Stone. The atmosphere is calm and mellow, making you almost want to be quiet while listening. The song deserves a full and attentive listen, as it will bring you a sense of tranquility.
Get this: this ballad was recorded on the piano at RCA Studio B in Nashville. If that doesn’t ring a bell, it’s the very studio where Elvis Presley recorded. Yeah, that’s pretty cool.
And a surprise at the end: a small violin to finish on a graceful note.
