At Indie Music Center, we love romantic duets. Bobby and Marlene met while studying. And whether it's on the love or the musical universe, their meeting gives birth to pretty little things! Made as a surprise for their two-year anniversary, the song is a ballad with folk accents, full of sweetness and delicacy, where only love reigns as king. Bobbylene is folk-pop boyfriend/girlfriend duo Bobby Katz and Marlene McCarthy from New York City. The two met while studying music at NYU. Bobby, a jazz saxophonist and Marlene, a classical pianist joined forces and started writing and recording music in a completely different genre: pop- influenced folk music. Their debut EP, “Where Love Can Find Me and You” was released in 2018 and received US public radio airplay. Their music has also been selected as songwriting contest winners by Radio Airplay. The duo’s forthcoming self-titled EP, a collection of five songs recorded with Lost Harbor Music in Nashville, Tennessee will be released this fall.
