Phantom Electric

Phantom Electric is a unique mixture of alternative rock music created by Nick Whitson and producer Kristofer Sampson featuring a rotating cast of Atlanta-based musicians. Phantom Electric's first release, "Friends," debuted October 2017. The band was immediately recognized for their mature songwriting capabilities to seamlessly combine an eclectic mixture of influences and sounds. The 2019 release, "Tell Me," displayed the band's ambient and funk influences, hosting a downtempo groove with dream pop vibes. Followed by their 2020 release, “Modern Culture,” a heavy rock turn into two socio-politically charged singles, "Modern Culture," and, "Lie."

All the while, Phantom Electric compiled records worth of demos. After a number of years working with other artists and close collaborators such as Ben Davidow (Gas Hound) and Sean Michelsen (Jaguar Beach), Phantom Electric is returning to release a handful of track beginning with their upcoming single, "Hope So," debuting September 27th.

While listening to Phantom Electric you will hear a variety of influences from heavy sounds like NIN and QOTSA to singer-songwriter vibes like Ryan Adams with a spread of pop sensibility in-between.
