IZHAV
IZHAV’s Story
Behind IZHAV is Izabelle Norén Nielsen — songwriter and producer whose path into music has been shaped by curiosity, movement, and courage.
At just 17, she took her self-written songs to the streets and town squares across Sweden. With a guitar as her constant companion, she went on to hitchhike, travel, and perform throughout Europe, Central America, and North America, allowing each place and encounter to leave its mark on her music.
Fifteen years and countless stories later, she has released eight albums and EPs — three of them under the name IZHAV. Today, she is based in the rural countryside of Halland, Sweden, where she lives close to the land. Her cultivation of vegetables, flowers, fruit, and berries reflects the same sense of care, reverence, and presence that defines her music.
