HeyDreamer’s Story
HeyDreamer blends the thunder of The Who, the drama of Muse, and a voice somewhere between Hayley Williams and Ann Wilson.
Based in Atlanta and fronted by singer-songwriter and guitarist Melody Kiser, the band blends alternative rock, Southern soul, funk, and pop into a sound built on gritty grooves, fearless lyrics, tight harmonies, and the kind of choruses that demand to be played loud. Alongside bassist Dustin Williams, drummer David Williams, and keyboardist Donnie Gee, Kiser leads a live show that can move from intimate and vulnerable to completely explosive without warning.
HeyDreamer has been featured by Atlanta’s legendary 99X, performed at 99X’s Big Day Out, appeared on PBS’s Peach Jam, and was selected to perform aboard the Melissa Etheridge Cruise alongside iconic songwriters and rising artists. The band is also the creative force behind Newnan Porchfest, a community-powered music festival that drew more than 10,000 people in its inaugural year.
Now working under a production deal with Real 2 Reel Studios, the iconic Georgia studio owned by Collective Soul’s Will Turpin and CMA-Artist Brian Collins, HeyDreamer is building its most ambitious body of work yet: Celebrated Destruction of Paradise, a cinematic concept album about power, identity, survival, and what happens when paradise begins to unravel.
