Emma River
Emma River’s Story
Emma River grew up in Norway conducting choirs already in high school. That instinct — to hear music in layers, to find the harmony inside every melody — is still the center of everything she makes.
Now based in Los Angeles, Emma writes, produces, and arranges her own music: Norwegian folk sensibility filtered through neo-soul chords and R&B phrasing, built on stacked vocal harmonies that feel both intimate and expansive. A Berklee College of Music graduate and ISC semi-finalist, she makes songs that makes you feel calm and inspired.
