DUNBAR’s Story

Dunbar is an indie rock group from St. Louis, Missouri. The band was formed in late 2016 while its members attended the same university. After playing local shows - most notably an opening slot for - the band released their debut single "Cary Grant" in early 2018.

"Cary Grant" garnered positive reviews, with its combination of anthemic indie rock and tropical melodies drawing comparisons to groups such as Vampire Weekend, Young the Giant. The track was called "engaging" by EARMILK, and music platform Indie Music Center named "a band to watch for 2018."

Their sophomore single "High & Low" was released on September 4th, 2020 and the band then disappeared.
