Clara Strauch’s Story

Clara Strauch is a Swedish-American singer-songwriter. Her critically acclaimed albums Persephone and Jupiter blend emotional depth, mythic themes, and vivid storytelling. Her third album continues this path with a song cycle inspired by the myth of Lilith, written between 2019 and 2021, largely recorded in 2023, and now finally released.

Strauch has been nominated for Outstanding Original Music at the New York Innovative Theatre Awards, performed live in the Palme d’Or-nominated film Bergman Island, and composed music for several theatre productions in Sweden and the US. Her solo concerts have ranged from intimate venues to singing with an orchestra.

A former actress, she holds a BFA with honors and scholarship from NYU Tisch School of the Arts drama school. Creatively fueled by her bicultural life, she draws inspiration from the heart, inner growth, and the natural world.
