Clouds And Thorns

Clouds And Thorns is the project of a professional songwriter, recording artist, producer, touring musician, multi-instrumentalist, and singer with well over 25 years of experience. In 1999, his band pete. was signed to Warner Brothers Records, with their debut CD hitting stores in the summer of 2001. Since then, he has toured the country numerous times, opening for some of the music industry's biggest acts, including Nickelback, Three Doors Down, Jonas Brothers, Kid Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd, My Chemical Romance, All American Rejects, Muse, and many others. He has also appeared on HBO, MTV, and VH1.

In 2004, he began producing and writing songs for other artists, creating Heller Highwater Music Productions in his home state of New Jersey. In 2017, he released his first full solo project, Clouds And Thorns, on Alex Rainbird Records. He performed everything on the record himself, from the initial songwriting through to mastering, drawing on the experience gained from years of working in studios.

Since then, he has focused primarily on licensing music for film, television, and advertising. He likes to give his music away for free to regular listeners, while taking a slightly more Robin Hood approach when corporations want to use his songs. His music has appeared on shows including American Idol, Shameless, and Teen Mom, as well as in movies, trailers, and advertising campaigns for UPS and Audi.
