Finally, a girl on Music For Your Heart! That’s pretty rare. It’s not our fault, girls are few and far between when it comes to approaching us! Leila Milki (Lebanese-American living in Los Angeles) has this incredible talent that makes it impossible to refuse her anything. A breathtaking voice, a unique sensitivity in her interpretation, and incomparable sweetness. The song really takes off at 2:27, and we discover the full range of Leila’s vocal abilities. Filmed entirely on a beach, the video perfectly complements the song’s lyrics. Leila describes the song as “an intimate, contemplative, fluctuating, and fluid meditation on illusory ideals, ever-changing circumstances, and the smallest rays of light that carry us through our most ordinary and extraordinary moments.” Available on Spotify And iTunes, and included in our “Confused Emotions” playlist on Spotify And YouTube.
