Hunter Heflin

Until his senior year of college, Hunter Heflin planned to get a nine to five; he loved producing jaw-dropping beats but hesitated to envision a future in music beyond college. Heflin’s outlook evolved during his junior year at the University of Pennsylvania when he endured a string of personal tragedies, cementing the idea that life can be fleeting. Not wanting to waste precious time, he flung himself headfirst into music production after graduation to live out his dream.

Heflin’s passion, discipline, and talent proved to be a formula for a budding music career, gaining the attention of superstars such as JESSIA, Marc E. Bassy, Stevie Mackey, and legendary hip-hop producer Bricks Da Mane. With an unrelenting work ethic and tenacity, Heflin eventually found a sonic lane where irresistible hooks floated over pounding 808s and swirling synth pads, leaving listeners bobbing their heads and smirking in approval.

Heflin’s production chops and knack for compelling, melodic storytelling have propelled him to nearly 1 million cross-platform streams and releases on Trap Town Records and Frequency Music, among others.

On his forthcoming EP, “It’s Good To See You, Too”, Heflin unveils a charismatic spectrum of emotion, ranging from cavernous grief to boundless love. The self-reflective work is a double-sided coin - listeners will come to understand Heflin and simultaneously unlock deeper parts of themselves through his music.
