Waves Rush In’s Story
Waves Rush In is the artist moniker of Sam Branson. After his 2021 debut, Sam released the acclaimed 2023 album Under The Static, earning praise from Ed Sheeran and Ryan Reynolds. The project saw a sold-out headline show at London’s Troubadour and heavy BBC radio support, with the single ‘The Man That I Am’ playlisted across 39 stations.
Following features in Wonderland and SBTV, Sam released his second album, Equilibrium, in April 2025. Inspired by the 2-million-stream success of the title track from his debut, the concept album explores nature and human connection.
In April 2026, Sam released the deeply personal Colours Bleed (For Mum). To Sam, Waves Rush In is a community for kindred spirits who value authenticity, compassion, and the exploration of the human experience.
