Children of Indigo

Children of Indigo’s Story

Children of Indigo are an indie-folk trio from Ottawa, Canada, made up of Natasha Pedersen, Mitchell Jackson and David Campbell. They met at university in 2015, started playing together just for fun, and quickly realised they had something special.

A few open mics later, the first songs came to life, and they’ve been writing and producing as a team ever since. From small local shows to a slot at Ottawa Bluesfest in 2019, they’ve come a long way.

With over 4 million streams online, they’ve clearly found their audience: one that connects with their honest, heartfelt songwriting. Their sound is built around acoustic instruments, rich harmonies, and Natasha’s voice, soft and warm, somewhere between comfort and escape. They write about the things that matter: the people they love, the places they miss, the things they learn, and everything that ties them together.
