Venus Demilo is probably one of the best indie bands we know, and they're so underrated. We know them for at least 4 years now, since we featured some of their first tracks on the radio. We also shared "All I Want" last summer, which we still have running in our heads! Parr Street Studios is where they've recorded all of their songs, and before the studio closes in the new year, they wanted to record live, and the result is amazing. These guys are so good in this live performance that you could think these are studio versions. But filmed ;) An incredible performance from all the members, with a high quality of sound and video. The band plays its best song here, included "Sinking Ships" or "Penniless" which is the last song of this live take. This live video could be summarized as "35 minutes of pleasure with Venus Demilo", to enjoy full screen with good quality headphones. And if you loved this live performance, it will be available this Friday on all streaming platforms!
The band's point of view :
Parr Street has an almost mythical reputation in Liverpool. When we first recorded there we were bombarded with mates asking us all about it. It was like we’d been to the White House. At first you’re blown away by the place itself; it’s a musician’s heaven. After spending a bit of time there though you realise it’s the quality of the pros working there that is where the magic really stems from
