Summer is coming to an end soon, and we will all be back to our usual activities. And this song could be your ideal soundtrack for it. Imagine yourself on a beach, at sunset, wondering what is going to happen tomorrow. Now is the time to get rid of all of our demons, especially those looking over our shoulders. Whether it was the demons we knew just before the holidays, or the demons we have been dragging around unconsciously for years. This is the whole idea behind "Holding You Back". And here's why we featured this gem on our "Happy Days" column. Cause after all we've been through, especially last year, we all need brighter days.

Yet far from the beaches with turquoise waters and warm sand, because it comes from Oslo (Norway), Grand Alpaca has created a unique musical universe. His previous singles are all jewels and this one is no exception to the rule.

The artist spent three years working hard on his debut album, "Staying Quiet Is An Easy Young Thing To Do". And that hard work shines through every single song. We can also feel that passion and that love for music with every phrase and every second.

The intro offers you a soaring experience thanks to its electric guitar and efficient drums, and reminds us of the fabulous atmosphere of "Stargazing", by the band Interstate, which we presented to you last year. Yep, that kind of vibe that makes you feel like you're on cloud nine.

The voice of Grand Alpaca quickly appears and we understand that we are dealing with a great professional, who perfectly masters his voice and his melody. Each note is perfectly in its place. And her voice is comfortable in any key, even if the chorus is a bit higher. A chorus that benefits from a fabulous, almost magical hook.

The electric guitar solo, usually placed on the bridge, is located here at the end of the track. As if to finish this little masterpiece wonderfully. Then the outro, finished convincing us with the last words, "Head over heels, chasing the clouds". Perfectly suited for the dream setting that we imagined at the beginning of the article. Difficult to come down from our cloud after these more than three minutes in zero gravity.
