Many of us have already experienced the arrival of a child in a home. Or in a family. Or a bunch of friends. And we all know how life-changing that can be. But, and it is a pity, we often summarize the love enjoyed by the child to that of his parents. But not only! In the case of The Graes, the song is aimed at the daughter of their friends, who as they say "has become the center of the world". And when you don't have a child yet, you can fall head over heels for a child who is not ours. Beautifully written, the song, while acoustic, offers us superb vocal harmonies, and a sweet melody worthy of the best lullabies. A real folk gem that we didn't want to miss! In short, in these festive......
It's been two years since we haven't heard from Dessie Magee. We missed this extraordinary voice from Brighton (UK)! While his single 'Maze' is still playing on repeat in our mind, I'm delighted to make you discover 'Restrain', his new single, announcing an EP to be released soon. Dessie Magee is one of my favorite artists, because he always manages to give us chills thanks to tenfold emotions. And the overall structure of 'Restrain' made my arm hairs stand upright again. Always the right impactful phrase, where it is needed : "All of this means you don't know yourself". And then the full band comes, powerful electric guitar riffs, wonderful drums, and a huge wave of emotion. And what's......
Follow The Satellite Station:
Here is the most featured artist on our platform: The Satellite Station. With this song, the artist reach the 10h feature in-a-row. And what a track! Even though we're not going to hide that Travis is one of our favourite singer-songrwriters of all time, we must admit that this one is really breathtaking. His writing is even more powerful than usual in this track. It talks to your heart, directly. This is probably the most beautiful track we've heard so far, this year. Well, even if, at first, we didn't really know who the recipient of the message was, we would all like to receive words like these. Then knowing about the story behind the song (see......
Even before she started to sing, we were already seduced by the warm piano of the intro. An instrument that is rare in her compositions, and which, combined with her extraordinary voice, installs us in an immediate melancholy atmosphere. Indeed, Luna Keller has a voice that you will not soon forget. For her 4th visit to the blog, she plunges us into the disturbed world of breakup. When love sometimes means sacrificing certain parts of yourself, to the extreme, then it becomes difficult to call it love. A song with strong emotional power, where Luna's voice shows us all its potential in the treble, during the bridge. Much less guitar-driven than her previous releases, "Let Me Go Now" is an......
Here is a song that a lot of people will be able to relate to. And I did, for personal reasons. I'm not going to tell you my life story here, because you may quickly fall asleep and that would be more effective than the best sleeping pills. But it's true that we have all experienced this kind of situation: big changes in our lives, with more or less impact. Changes that bring a lot of positive in our life, even if , sometimes, we have to make inevitable sacrifices. Listen to this song as you would tell a story to a child in the evening. With a lot of gentleness, delicacy and above all ... poetry. Luna perfectly handles the art of writing. Who said you have to scream like Mariah Carey or all......
Ah! What a surprise! Like a big wave of nostalgia that hits us. We remember perfectly, in 2007, having discovered Unkle Bob in a TV show called 'Kyle XY', where several of their songs had been used. And in particular the excellent 'Swans', which remains to this day the biggest success of the band. Rick has continued to keep the name 'Unkle Bob' alive ever since, and here we are in 2020, the band is reforming to offer us this new gem. A superb folk rock song, powerful and sublime, to put stars in our eyes and emotions in our ears. The track is accompanied by a music video that is both sad and funny. Sad because the weather is not on their side. But funny because no matter what, even in the......
