The Foxtails is a brand new project that saw the light of day during the 2020 lockdowns. Based in LA, Ethan and Kevin met during high school French lessons. Having become inseparable friends, they set out to create music together and it seems like the best decision they've ever made.

Because everything is working wonderfully. The chemistry between these two little guys is incredible and shines through their music. Each element has its place in "Waste of a Night" and nothing is left to chance. The production has been taken to the last detail.

With some great retro vibes that can make you think of good pop songs from the late 80s, this song could be the perfect soundtrack for a night on the beach, watching the sunset.

The lyrics tell the story of a very fleeting love story. And it's pretty funny that the boys got into this parallel because we can say that 2020 and 2021 are not really years where we can plan big projects.

So after all, why not live as if there is no tomorrow, and why not take advantage of every moment? Even if a love story doesn't stand a chance, except for one night, why don't give it a try? Here is the whole subtle idea behind this indie-pop gem, with a slow rhythm that could perfectly accompany the sound of the waves of Laguna Beach. Reaching such perfection for a debut single is insane.

While Kevin is a rocket scientist and Ethan got a classical music education, nothing predestined them to produce this kind of incredible sound. And yet. If life has brought these two together, there is a reason!

A little nod to their press kit where they specified that they were making music "for people who buy fake plants". We burst out laughing when we read this sentence. You guys are right, you don't have to take yourself seriously, especially in the music industry. Just being you will lead you everywhere you want to go. The proof is there: without really realizing it, you have just created a masterpiece with this track.
