Edward & Graham - Pages

A song written about writing a song. You're right : it's original. But that's not what made us have a crush on Edward & Graham's "Pages". It's all the track!

Which is very coherent, logical and ... beautiful. An acoustic guitar, some beautiful vocal harmonies, and pleasant lyrics. This the program of this sweet ballad, perfect for the winter, in front of the fireplace.

"You got your song, and I got my reason to write it" say the lyrics. "It will never be easy to sing, but that's exactly what needed to be said," the artists told us.

The song tells the true story of a failed relationship. "Sometimes, you want to be able to document the good times, but the truth is, inspiration didn't hit until the relationship ended. Sometimes you don't express yourself until you absolutely have to."

Music is part of Edward & Graham's life at 100%. As they told us, "We tend to use it as a way to document these times and moments in our lives, both good and bad. But at the end of the day, even if it's a bad memory, like in "Pages," we got a song we're proud of out of it. We think it's beautiful to be able to turn something hurtful into something that people can relate to and enjoy".

Compared to classic Coldplay or John Mayer, we can say that the duo has a well-forged identity and a universe of their own. We like that!
