If you're a night owl like me, you're probably going to enjoy this song at its true worth. Nick de la Hoyde is no longer to present. His fan base on social media is just 300,000 times bigger than us, so I might as well tell you that he already knows how to promote his talent. Since 2015, the artist has been performing singles. The list is endless on Spotify. And finally, this year an album. All this to tell you that if you go to his Spotify, you will find real nuggets! A preference for "Animals", "Maze", and "High", on the album "A Beautiful Mess". Today, let's talk about this new single, "Night Stuff". The intriguing side of the intro immediately won me over, and when I heard the voice, I was like "Wow". What a voice! A soft voice, perfectly correct and controlled. We're facing a professional. The melody of this verse is already very catchy ... "I don't wanna run, I don't wanna waste no time"... Like a cry for help, on a very catchy melody on the pre-chorus... Can the chorus be even more catchy? Well. The chorus comes and we take a slap. Damn! Why don't we hear stuff like that on the radio instead of hearing the same damn songs all day long? The quality of production is huge here. It's probably one of the best produced songs we've received this year! Well, don't pay too much attention to the explicit lyrics at the end of the song, it's part of the character. Nick is a rough diamond. And he expresses himself spontaneously, as it comes. But focus on the quality here. The song is very addictive, and it's hard to not hit the replay button at the end. About that. My replay button is dead. The funeral is next week, if you have a little time.

Included in our "Indie Pop" playlist, and of course, you will now hear this amazing track on the Indie Music Radio.

Nick's point of view :

I feel like some songs write themselves and for Night Stuff it was definitely one of those songs. I woke up and had the melody of the chorus stuck in my head like I had been dreaming of it. So I spent the morning putting the vocals together. I’m lucky enough to work with my brother Joe who produces my music and we sat together and worked through the song. I love space and am very interested by it so I wanted the song to give off an outa space type of vibe.
