Aujourd'hui, 21 décembre, c'est officiellement l'hiver sur le calendrier. Nous avons fait le choix d'attendre ce jour pour publier cette superbe chanson de Merethe JM, "Homeless".

Le titre se traduit par sans-abri, ou SDF si vous préférez. Et en ce premier jour de l'hiver, c'est d'autant plus d'actualité, malheureusement. Même si l'on devrait y penser toute l'année, bien sûr !

Ironie du sort, l'artiste nous vient d'un pays froid, la Norvège.

Dans cette jolie ballade aux airs acoustiques, Merethe se met dans la peau d'un sans-abri.

Les paroles sont incroyablement touchantes car elles sont tellement criantes de vérité.

"Mais je ne vous ferai aucun mal, j'essaye juste de me tenir au chaud. Parfois c'est dur de rester fort", et elle termine sur "J'aimerais m'envoler, si haut, dans le ciel, quand personne ne me voit".

Beaucoup d'émotions donc, sur un thème trop rarement abordé en musique.

Today, December 21, it's officially winter on the calendar.

We made the choice to wait for this day to post about this beautiful song by Merethe JM, "Homeless". And on this first day of winter, it's even more relevant, unfortunately. Even if we should think about it all year long, of course!

Ironically, the artist comes from a cold country, Norway.

In this beautiful ballad with acoustic tunes, Merethe puts herself in a homeless skin.

The lyrics are incredibly touching because they are so truthful.

"But I will do no harm, I'm just trying to stay warm, sometimes it's hard to stay strong," and she ends with "I wish I could fly so high above the skies, when no one can see me."

Many emotions, therefore, on a theme too rarely discussed in music.
