Luke Buck describes his song as telling the story of losing emotions because of social media. The theme is rarely addressed in music, but it is completely relevant today.

It is a rather surprising breakup song. “You check your Facebook page, you refresh it 12 times a day, but you don’t write to me much anymore. I’m sitting in my room, and I see that you are more comfortable today with him. Well Jenny, go fuck yourself.” The message is clear.

Luke told us it was a true story. She supposedly didn’t have internet because she worked on a boat, but one morning, when he opened his Facebook, he saw a photo of her with a new guy. So we can understand the rather “direct” chorus. And fortunately, the girl in question didn’t take it badly. He kindly offered to change the name, but she refused. She thought it sounded good.

The result is a track full of emotion with a colorful finale, featuring a discreet electric guitar and a vocal lift just the way we like it.
