His first feature on IMC dates back to August 2021, with "Wake Up". Lennon VanderDoes is back!

The Delaware artist was inspired by the Indie-Folk atmosphere that enveloped him during his stay on the West Coast, especially around Seattle. Now based in Arizona, our traveling musician continues to be inspired by the mountains of the West and returns with an acoustic version of his track "Goodnight Love", released in March this year.

Goodbye piano, this new version is an acoustic take that could not be more beautiful than with just his extraordinary voice and his fabulous guitar-picking, in a cozy atmosphere. And much closer to the original when it was written, as Lennon says:

"It's been a year since I wrote it, on my couch, after midnight just by candlelight in my living room with an acoustic guitar. This acoustic version captures what that sounded like as it was written."

Just a few vocal harmonies in the last minute give "Goodnight Love" that breath of fresh air (which is quite amazing, since the song actually regains its original aura).

What is fascinating about Lennon is the ease with which emotions come through, whether through the perfectly controlled vocals or the almost mystical-looking guitar. Artists who are able to transport us into their universe with so little are quite rare.
